Tom Amirault

As a Transport Canada certified Marine Engineer and Master he brought with him over 25 years of experience in marine industries. He completed his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 2014.

Tom is still involved in the fishing industry through lobbying groups and promoting safety management Canada-wide. He enjoys spending his down time sportsfishing, boating and camping



Keith Amirault

Keith Amirault is the Vice President of both Nesika Insurance Services Inc. Inc. and Fairway Insurance Services Inc.

He has been working with Fairway since 1993 and has assumed many roles and responsibilities including Commercial Insurance Broker, Sales Manager, and Marine Manager.

Depending on the season you can also find him sailing or skiing.

Sarah Amirault

Sarah Amirault is the President of Fairway Insurance Services Inc. and Treasurer for Nesika Insurance Services Inc.

She has been working with Fairway since graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1994, and continued her education obtaining her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) accreditation in 2012. Her roles and responsibilities have included moving to Newfoundland to start a branch office, Personal Lines Sales Manager as well as Operations Manager.

Sarah is very active within the insurance industry serving on the Provincial Broker’s Association (IBANS) in a variety of roles including board member, President and Chair. Sarah also sits on the National Broker’s Association (IBAC). In Sarah’s free time she can be found spending time with her 2 dogs or, in a barn, riding her 3 horses.



Amanda Crosbie
Office Manager & Broker

Amanda joined Nesika as a summer employee in 2014.

Since graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology & Immunology from UBC, she has returned to working full-time in our office. She completed her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 2016 with honours and received the Ken Underhill award for being the top CAIB graduate in BC for 2017.



Andrew Crosbie

Andrew joined the team at Nesika in December 2017.

Before making the move into insurance Andrew worked in the restaurant industry for ten years and was involved in cooking competitions and menu development. He also has extensive experience in the construction industry. After marrying into the Nesika family (Amanda is his wife) he decided that he’d like to be home more and it was time for a career change. He’s since burned all of his chef hats and high-vis vests and now focuses full time on insurance.

He is currently working on his CAIB and Certified Risk Manager designations



Ashleigh Kordyban

Ashleigh Kordyban joined Nesika Insurance Services Inc. Inc in 2012 as an intern following graduating from an Office Administrator with Technology course at BC Institute of Technology.

After completing the insurance licensing program she was hired as an Insurance broker and Executive Assistant to Tom Amirault, President of the BC branch. She completed her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 2015.

Ashleigh likes to spend her down time with her horse Sophie and in the past has competed competitively at jumping events all over the west coast with numerous championships at many competitions.




Whiskey is the real boss of the office.

She joined us in January 2018 and spends her days curled up by the door waiting for somebody to come give her pets. She’s never met a person who isn’t her best friend or a food that isn’t delicious.
